Dr. Shania Lee, N.D

Shania is part of the Nordic Laboratories and dnalife®team. She is a qualified and registered Doctor of Homoeopathy, graduated from the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. For more than 15 years she has been practicing a Functional Medicine approach.

She uses specialised functional testing in her practice, and includes lifestyle modifications, prescription diets, and nutritional supplements to address root causes of illness and imbalances. Recently she has spent time researching, and employing strategies in reference to the effects Mycotoxins can have on the body.

Graeme Jones

Graeme is the founder and CEO of Nordic Clinic Stockholm. Over the past 15 years, Graeme has accumulated skills and experiences from various medical fields, fitness, nutrition and clinical research. He obtained his bachelor degree in Sport, Health and Exercise from Durham University before embarking on his functional medicine journey. Prior to moving to Sweden, he operated one of the UK’s largest preventive medicine screening units at the Nuffield Hospital in Southampton.

He has also worked with some of Europe’s leading specialists in medicine, neurology, spinal surgery, pain, psychology and physiotherapy and has consulted for The London General Practice as well as Parasitology Center Inc. in Arizona. Graeme currently is part of a research collaboration involving the Karolinska Institute and Stockholm University looking into how functional medicine may improve IBS outcomes in chronic IBS patients.

Helen Gautschi

Helen Gautschi is a registered dietician (SA), and holds a Bachelor of ScienceDietetics (Honours) degree. Helen has a special interest in personalised healthcare and nutrition, specifically, the field of nutrigenetics and nutrigenomics, and believes this to be a key area for management of health and wellbeing. Since joining DNAlysis, a genetic testing laboratory, over eight years ago, Helen has keenly been growing her knowledge in the field of personalised healthcare and nutrition, and understanding the practical applications of genetic tests in the healthcare environment.

She has given numerous lectures, and spoken at both local and international conferences, on the subject of nutrigenetics and personalised medicine in practice. Her role as educator and researcher, allows her to pass on genomics knowledge to like-minded healthcare practitioners.
